Teach for Bangladesh launches gender inclusive learning initiative

Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC partners with TFB to support their Gender Inclusive Learning Initiative. Teach for Bangladesh (TFB) is a global Teach for All network partner.
TFB runs "Gender-Inclusive Learning Environments for Students", an initiative to empower over 2,200 students in Dhaka and Chattogram. This two-year project addresses the pandemic's impact on education by creating safe, gender-sensitive classrooms and promoting girls' leadership development.
The initiative engages TFB Fellows, Head Teachers, and thousands of community members and supports inclusive education aligned with SDG 4. Key components include gender-sensitive pedagogy training, Girls Advisory Councils, Capstone leadership projects, and parent engagement programs to challenge cultural norms and ensure equal opportunities for marginalised learners.
