Sonali life holds training and business meet in Chattogram
Sonali Life Insurance Company Ltd. hosted a 'Managers' Training and Business Development Meeting' for Chattogram leaders on Sunday, focusing on performance reviews, the 2025 action plan, and strategies for achieving targets.
The meeting was led by Deputy Managing Director S M Mohiuddin Faruqi, with Director Sheikh Md. Daniel was the chief guest. Acting CEO Mohammad Rafiqul Islam delivered the keynote, and CFO Mohammad Abdul Hannan FCA served as special speaker.
Other attendees included DMD Satyajit Das Gupta, Maulana Mohammad Alauddin, Assistant General Manager Mohammad Mohiuddin, and all branch and unit managers from the territory. The training session was conducted by DMD Emdadul Haque Sahil.

Speakers highlighted Sonali Life's achievements over the past 12 years, future opportunities and challenges, and the company's strong claim settlement record, having paid out approximately Tk 1.78 billion up to July 2025.
The Chattogram division leads in premium income, accounting for 107 of Sonali Life's 246 branches, with 33 in the Chattogram district. Over the past seven months, first-year premiums have topped Tk 560 million, and renewal premiums have approached Tk 1.53 billion.
