Prime Bank train entrepreneurs under SICIP initiative

A month-long Entrepreneur Development Training Programme concluded successfully under the joint initiative of Bangladesh Bank and Prime Bank PLC.
The training was conducted as part of the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (SICIP), funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and managed by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance.
The closing ceremony was recently held at Prime Tower, Nikunja, Dhaka, where certificates were distributed to 25 entrepreneurs who successfully completed the training.
Nawshad Mustafa, director, SME & SPD, Bangladesh Bank, attended the event as the chief guest. Md Nazrul Islam, programme director of SICIP and additional director at Bangladesh Bank, and Md Ayub Ali, joint director at Bangladesh Bank, were present as special guests.
The event was presided over by M Nazeem A Choudhury, deputy managing director of Prime Bank PLC. Mamur Ahmed, head of distribution, and Mohammad Aminur Rahman, head of SME at Prime Bank PLC, also attended, along with other senior officials.
Through this initiative, Prime Bank seeks to strengthen the skills, management capacity, and innovative mindset of small and medium entrepreneurs, fostering sustainable growth and boosting competitiveness in Bangladesh's SME sector.
