Anwar Ispat and Anwar Cement sponsor 8th captain’s cup golf tournament
Anwar Ispat and Anwar Cement, flagship brands of Anwar Group of Industries, proudly sponsored the 8th Captain's Cup Golf Tournament at the Army Golf Club, Dhaka Cantonment.
Organisers officially inaugurated the four-day tournament on 11 October 2025 at 9am, ceremonially opening one of the nation's most anticipated golfing events.

Representing the Army Golf Club were Lieutenant General Khan Firoz Ahmed, OSP, ndc, afwc, psc, President of the Army Golf Club; Brigadier General Syed Ahmed Ali, PBGM, ndc (Retd), Chief Executive Officer of the Army Golf Club; and Brigadier General Akhter Shahid, SUP (Bar), ndc, psc, G+, MPhil, Chairman of the Tournament Committee.
