Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan launches Seafood Party
Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan is set to host a Seafood Party featuring an extensive buffet, live grilling, freshly prepared sushi, oysters, mussels, lobster, crab and international coastal flavours.
Running from 10 to 19 September, the dining event offers guests a mix of seafood dishes, live culinary experiences, tableside service, and special bank-card offers, according to a press release.
Inspired by the bounty of the sea and coastal cuisines from around the world, the Seafood Party will offer more than a conventional buffet experience.

The spread will include shrimp cocktail, fresh oysters and mussels, tuna and octopus salad, seafood bisque, salt-crusted salmon, seafood paella, prawn teriyaki, fried calamari and freshly prepared sushi.
Guests can also choose from a range of other seafood dishes and preparations available throughout the event.
A live fish grill will allow guests to select fresh fish and seafood, with the hotel's culinary team grilling their choices to preference.
One highlight of the evening will be a special crab and lobster platter served directly to guests' tables by Executive Chef Kassem.
The tableside service is intended to add a distinctive culinary experience to the buffet and allow guests to enjoy freshly served crab and lobster alongside the wider seafood selection.
The event is designed for groups of friends, families, celebrations, and diners seeking to explore a wide variety of seafood in one setting.
Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) has joined the event as its prime partner and will offer special benefits to selected cardholders.
The Seafood Party is priced at Tk7,999 net per person.
Selected MTB cardholders will be able to enjoy a "Buy 1 Get 3" offer, allowing four guests to dine for the price of one.
When four guests dine together using an eligible MTB card, the effective cost will be Tk1,999.75 net per person.
Selected cardholders of other partner banks can also enjoy "Buy 1 Get 1" and "Buy 1 Get 2" offers during the event.
Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan General Manager Karthi VK said the hotel wanted to create a seafood experience that felt less like a regular dinner and more like a celebration.
"From the live grill and fresh seafood to the chef-served crab and lobster, there will be plenty to explore, share and enjoy," he said.
