New best western plus bay hills hotel opens in cox’s bazar
The soft opening of Gold Sands Group's newest venture — the four-star Best Western Plus Bay Hills Hotel — was held on Saturday, 15 November, 2025, in Himchhari, Cox's Bazar.
The property, managed by the renowned American hotel chain Best Western, is positioned as one of South Asia's premium coastal hotels.
Located in one of the most scenic points of Cox's Bazar, the hotel is the only property in the area offering uninterrupted views of both the mountains and the sea from every suite.

Beginning at 9am, the day-long programme featured a rally, recitation from the Holy Quran, ribbon-cutting ceremony, horse-drawn carriage promotion, lighting along Marine Drive, celebrity and influencer engagement, a musical barbecue night, an evening cultural show, a poolside dinner and VIP guest reception, among other activities.
Senior officials of Gold Sands Group, local administrative representatives and prominent social and business leaders attended the event.
On the occasion of the soft opening, Gold Sands Group CEO Shahadat Hossain Bahar thanked attendees and reaffirmed the organisation's commitment to contributing to the growth and development of Bangladesh's tourism industry.
