IFIC Bank Hosts festival of youth 2025 in Barishal
IFIC Bank organised a financial literacy workshop in Barishal on 12 November 2025 as part of the "Festival of Youth 2025," under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank.
The event, held in collaboration with the University of Barishal, aimed to equip young people with basic banking knowledge, encourage saving habits and enhance understanding of financial management.
The workshop was held at the university auditorium and presided over by Md Asiqur Rahman, acting chairman of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems. Modhusudan Banik, executive director of Bangladesh Bank's Barishal Office, attended as chief guest. Md Imtiaz Ahmad Masum, director of Bangladesh Bank Barishal Office, and Khandaker Anwar Ehtesham, head of Branding, Communications and Corporate Affairs at IFIC Bank, joined as special guests.
More than 150 students participated in the session. IFIC Bank's Md Symum Rezwan served as the resource person, offering guidance on essential financial management practices, professional skill development and preparing for future technology-driven challenges.
IFIC Bank continues to promote financial literacy nationwide, conducting year-round awareness programmes in urban and rural areas, as well as in educational institutions, to help build a financially informed generation.
