National Bank holds regional business conference in chattogram

National Bank PLC hosted its Regional Business Conference in Chattogram on August 13 at Ambrosia Restaurant, with Managing Director Adil Chowdhury as the Chief Guest.

Deputy Managing Director Syed Rois Uddin, responsible for overall business operations, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge) Md Meshkat-ul-Anwar Khan, overseeing compliance and regulatory affairs, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager (Chattogram) ASM Helal Uddin, leading regional expansion, Senior Vice President Mohammad Towhidul Karim, managing business development, along with branch managers of 19 regional branches, corporate branch managers heading corporate banking, operations managers supervising daily activities, and sub-branch managers handling satellite locations, were present.

The conference reviewed the performance of corporate and other branches in the Chattogram region. Chowdhury emphasised the importance of properly managing risk, cautiously disbursing loans, reducing non-performing loans, and promoting deposit growth. He also called on branch managers to innovate products and services for all customer segments and urged them to work as a team to drive business growth in the region.
