Month-long entrepreneurship training wraps up at AIBL

The closing ceremony of a month-long Entrepreneur Development Training Programme was held at Bangladesh Rural Development Academy (BARD), Cumilla.
Organised by Al-Arafah Islami Bank under the Bangladesh Bank's SICIP project, the event marked the conclusion of an intensive training programme.
Certificates were awarded to 25 trained small entrepreneurs, who also presented their future business plans.
Serving as the chief guest was Md Rafat Ullah Khan, Managing Director (CC) of Al-Arafah Islami Bank. Special guests included SICIP Project Director and Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank Md Nazrul Islam, along with Joint Director Md Ayub Ali.
Speakers emphasised the importance of applying strategies and technology for SME growth. Expanding banking support for entrepreneurs and leveraging supportive policies, they noted, would create jobs and boost income.
Senior officials attended the programme, which was presided over by Md Abdur Rahim Duari, Principal of the bank's Training Institute. Training covered business concepts, management, marketing, financial planning, ethics, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
