Le Méridien Dhaka appoints chef Christopher E. Butler as executive chef

Le Méridien Dhaka has appointed Chef Christopher E. Butler as its new Executive Chef, bringing over 20 years of award-winning global culinary experience to the hotel's diverse dining operations.
A dual citizen of Britain and New Zealand, Chef Christopher has held key roles in luxury kitchens across the Maldives, China, Switzerland, the UAE, and beyond. Prior to joining Le Méridien Dhaka, he served as Executive Chef at Vilamendhoo Island Resort in the Maldives. He has also led culinary operations at Hilton Port Moresby, Shangri-La Hotel Hangzhou, and Amwaj Rotana Dubai.
In his new role, Chef Christopher will be responsible for menu design, recipe implementation, and revenue optimisation across Le Méridien Dhaka's restaurants and catering services. Known for his precision, creativity, and motivational leadership, he combines a passion for modern gastronomy with an expert understanding of global culinary traditions.
