Islami Bank organises skills workshop for security staff
Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organised a professional skills development, training and orientation programme for newly recruited security guards on Tuesday, 14 October 2025 at Islami Bank Tower, Dhaka.
Md Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of Islami Bank, attended the event as chief guest.
Also present were Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim, Additional Managing Director; ASM Rezaul Karim, Director General of the Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA); A K M Kawsar Alam and Md Habibur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice-Presidents; and Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) K F A Sohel, Vice-President, along with other executives and officials of the bank.

A total of 120 newly recruited security guards participated in the day-long training workshop, designed to enhance professional competence and reinforce the bank's commitment to operational excellence and institutional discipline.
