IPDC Finance highlights ESG focus with Annual Calendar 2026

IPDC Finance PLC officially unveiled its Annual Calendar 2026, themed "Sustainability for the People and Planet", at an evening event attended by guests, partners, and members of the IPDC family.

The launch highlighted IPDC's strategic focus on advancing sustainability and achieving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals through sustainable and green finance, alongside corporate social responsibility initiatives, to support inclusive and long-term development in Bangladesh.

Over the years, the IPDC Annual Calendar has evolved into a signature institutional initiative. The 2026 edition reflects IPDC's belief that responsible finance can act as a catalyst for environmental stewardship, social inclusion, and economic resilience. Each month of the calendar showcases a sustainable business or community-led initiative, demonstrating alignment between environmental responsibility, social impact, good governance, and commercial viability.

The calendar features 12 organisations, including ActionAid Bangladesh, Muspana Filament Engineering Ltd, Hashimukh Somaj Kallayan Songstha, Rigel Energy Ltd, MSE Casting Pillar Karkhana, Bismillah Plastic Center, Amal Foundation, Natural Fibers, Laxman Jute Mills Ltd, MEP Light Industries Ltd, AKN International Agro Farm & Fisheries, and Obhizatrik Foundation.

Speaking at the launch, Managing Director of IPDC Finance PLC, Rizwan Dawood Shams, stated, "At IPDC, sustainability is integral to how we design our products, engage with clients, and deliver value to society. Through sustainable and green finance, as well as our CSR initiatives, we aim to enable businesses that drive positive ESG outcomes."
