GP users can now stream global sports and dramas on tapmad

Grameenphone, the country's leading telecommunications services provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with tapmad, a leading OTT streaming platform, to enhance digital entertainment experiences for Bangladeshi audiences.
Under this partnership, Grameenphone customers will have seamless access to tapmad's premium subscription services, featuring live coverage of major global sporting events, along with an extensive library of films, dramas, and on-demand content.
Customers can subscribe through the MyGP and tapmad mobile apps or websites by using their Grameenphone mobile balance directly, eliminating the need for credit cards or separate payment gateways. Subscription options include a weekly package priced at Tk55 and a monthly package at Tk110.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Zahiduz Zaman, head of digital platform, payment and partnership of Grameenphone, and Yassir Pasha, chief executive officer of tapmad.
