Community Bank Bangladesh PLC holds its 66th board meeting

The 66th Board Meeting of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC was held on Thursday, 26 June 2025, at the bank's head office in Dhaka.

Baharul Alam, BPM, Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh, and Chairman of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, chaired the meeting. During the session, the board reviewed and approved several investment proposals and discussed key policy matters related to the bank's operations and future strategy.

Board members in attendance included AKM Shahidur Rahman, BPM, PPM, ndc, Director General of Rapid Action Battalion; Md Golam Rasul, Additional IG, Special Branch, Bangladesh Police; Kazi Md Fazlul Karim, BPM (Sheba), DIG (Admin), Police Headquarters; Muntashirul Islam, PPM, Additional DIG (Highway Police); Ahmad Muyeed, BPM (Sheba), Additional DIG, Bangladesh Police Kallyan Trust; and Kamrul Hasan Talukdar, Inspector, Bangladesh Police and President of the Bangladesh Police Association.

Also present were Masud Khan, FCA, FCMA, Independent Director; Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (Current Charge); and Saiful Alam, FCS, Company Secretary of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.
The board reiterated its commitment to strengthening the bank's governance and financial performance in line with national development priorities.
