BUP National Law Fest 2025 wraps up

The closing ceremony of the 'BUP National Law Fest 2025 (Chapter II)' was held today (14 September) at the Shadhinota Auditorium of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The event aimed to enhance advocacy, policymaking, public speaking, and critical engagement with contemporary legal issues while fostering inter-university collaboration.
Around 400 students from various universities participated in more than 24 sessions, including debates, advocacy presentations, and panel discussions, alongside 50 distinguished judges.
Md Asaduzzaman, Attorney General of Bangladesh, attended as Chief Guest and commended the initiative for nurturing young legal talent and promoting inter-university engagement. In his address, BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, PhD, highlighted the importance of such platforms in preparing the next generation of legal professionals to meet both national and global challenges.
Prizes were awarded to winning teams across different categories, recognising excellence in analytical skills, advocacy, and legal reasoning. The programme was attended by BUP senior officials, faculty members, students, and distinguished guests.
