BUFT signs new industry partnerships to boost student development
BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) has reinforced its commitment to industry–academia collaboration by signing a series of partnership agreements with leading organisations. The Industry–Academia Partnership MoU Signing Ceremony was held on 25 November 2025 at the BoT Conference Room.
The event was graced by Faruque Hassan, chairman of the Board of Trustees, BUFT, as chief guest. Also present were BoT member Mohammed Nasir; Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Eng Dr Ayub Nabi Khan; and senior representatives from the participating organisations.
BUFT signed partnership MoUs with Giant Group, Shasha Denim PLC, Fashion Step Group and the Professional Management Institute (PMI). The collaborations aim to strengthen student development, practical training, research and innovation by aligning academic learning with industry needs.
