Brothers Union Chattogram unveils new jersey ahead of Mayor’s Cup
Ahead of the forthcoming Mayor's Challenge Cup Football Tournament, Brothers Union Chattogram Football Team officially unveiled its new team jersey at a ceremony held on Thursday at Copper Chimney Restaurant in the city.
The event was attended by club officials, players, and guests, with Jasim Ahmed, Acting President of Brothers Union Chattogram and Executive Member of the Chattogram District Football Association (CDFA), attending as chief guest.
The programme was presided over by Ahmed Ashfaqur Rahman, Chairman of the Brothers Union Chattogram Football Committee, prominent businessman and sports organiser. Engr S M Ishtiak Ur Rahman, General Secretary of the Committee, conducted the ceremony.
In his remarks, Ahmed Ashfaqur Rahman encouraged players to uphold sportsmanship and discipline through regular practice, noting that 'team spirit and dedication are the true strengths that define Brothers Union'.
Chief guest Jasim Ahmed called on coaches and committee members to ensure consistent performance, and expressed hope for a competitive and fair tournament season.
Also present were Coach Nazim Uddin Nazu, Assistant Coach Shawkat Khan and Team Manager Md Iftiar Uddin Sumon.
Speakers expressed confidence that Brothers Union Chattogram will return to the field this season stronger and more determined, showcasing teamwork and renewed energy.
