BRAC Bank opens Monipuri Para sub-branch in Dhaka
BRAC Bank has inaugurated a new sub-branch at Monipuri Para in Dhaka, bringing its sub-branch network to 116, according to the bank.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BRAC Bank, inaugurated the sub-branch at JDPC Bhaban, 145 Monipuri Para, Tejgaon, on 9 February 2026.
Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Branch Distribution Network, attended the event. AKM Tareq, Senior Zonal Head (North); Taher Hasan Al Mamun, Senior Zonal Head (South); and other officials were also present.
The bank stated that the area—known for its Monipuri ethnic community, residential neighbourhoods, and growing urban establishments—offers an opportunity to serve a diverse customer base with more convenient banking services.
The new sub-branch will provide services including account opening, cash deposit and withdrawal, DPS; fund transfers through EFTN and RTGS; remittance, utility bill payments, credit cards, debit cards, chequebook processing, Astha app enrollment, school banking, savings instruments, and other services, excluding foreign exchange services, according to the bank.
BRAC Bank stated that its network includes 310 branches and sub-branches, 330 ATMs, 446 SME unit offices, and 1,117 agent banking outlets.
