BIDA expands oss platform with five new land services

The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has taken a major step to enhance the investor experience by expanding its Online One-Stop Service (OSS) platform, adding five new services from the Directorate of Registration.
The inauguration took place today at the BIDA Conference Room in the Investment Building, Agargaon, Dhaka.
The integration includes certified copies and deeds—such as land purchase, lease, agreement, advance (Bayna), and power of attorney. As a result, investors now have access to 142 services from 47 agencies, an increase from the previous total of 137 services from 46 agencies.
BIDA Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, State Minister, served as Chief Guest. Senior Secretary ASM Saleh Ahmed and Secretary Md Liakat Ali Molla attended as Special Guests.
In his keynote, Harun announced that the newly integrated services would no longer be provided manually, effective December 16, 2025. He added that investment promotion agencies, including BIDA and BEZA, are preparing to integrate all services into a unified single-window platform by the end of the year.
Senior Secretary Ahmed noted that the Ministry of Land has already digitised all its services and is working to complete commercial land mutation within one week. Secretary Molla emphasised the need for proper disclosure of fees to prevent harassment and eliminate intermediaries.
Senior officials from BIDA, the Directorate of Registration, ministry representatives, and media members attended the ceremony.
