SIBL takes step for returned Bangladeshi expatriates
The bank disbursed investment cheques to returned Bangladeshi expatriates
Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) recently introduced two special investment facilities named "Probashi Uddog" and "Probashi Ogrojatra" for expatriate Bangladeshis who have returned to the country, read a press release.
Professor Md Anwarul Azim Arif, chairman of the Board of Directors and former vice chancellor of the University of Chittagong, handed over the investment cheque to the returned Bangladeshi expatriates as the chief guests on an occasion to mark the 25th anniversary of the Bank.
Quazi Osman Ali, managing director and CEO, presided over the program while Abu Naser Chowdhury, Md Sirajul Hoque and Md Shamsul Hoque, deputy managing directors; Abdul Hannan Khan, company secretary; Sadat Ahmad Khan, head of SME and AFD; and other senior officials of the organisation were also present.
