Biman gearing up to launch Dhaka–Karachi flights this month
Meanwhile, sources from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) said the national flag carrier is making strong efforts to launch the route by December.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines is gearing up to commence flights on the Dhaka–Karachi route, with preparations ongoing at full pace.
"We are progressing at full pace. Some permissions from the destination country are still pending, and we are working on securing them," Biman spokesperson Boshra Islam told The Business Standard.
She, however, did not specify when the service would begin.
Meanwhile, sources from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) said the national flag carrier is making strong efforts to launch the route by December.
"No Pakistani airline has applied for operating flights on this route so far," a CAAB member said.
