Gazi Group donates oxygen concentrators, ventilator to Narayanganj Hospital

Gazi Group has donated a ventilator, two oxygen concentrators and a high-flow nasal cannula to the Narayanganj 300-bed hospital for treatment of Covid-19 patients.

Golam Mortuza Pappa Gazi, director of Gazi Group, today handed over the medical supplies to the Deputy Commissioner of Narayanganj for this coronavirus treatment facility.

The hospital previously has five high flow nasal cannula machines and 10 ventilators.

During the handover ceremony at the hospital, Dr Gautam Kumar Saha, superintendent of the hospital, Dr Samsuzzoha Shonchoy, resident medical officer (RMO) of the hospital, Emdadul Haque, APS of the Textiles and Jute Minister and Ferdausi Begum Neela, Vice Chairman of Rupganj upazila parishad, were present.

Earlier, Gazi Group set up polymerase chain reaction laboratory or PCR lab in Rupganj upazila to facilitate diagnosis of people with coronavirus.  This lab conducts the coronavirus tests of 450 patients daily.
