The BNP today (6 February) unveiled its 51-point election manifesto ahead of the upcoming national election, outlining its vision to build a "humane, inclusive and accountable state."

It also highlights key priorities, including healthcare, education, sports development, balanced regional growth, climate change mitigation, rule of law, and ensuring social and food security.

In the first chapter of its manifesto, the party has pledged reforms in the state system.
It places emphasis on democracy, the Liberation War and the 2024 July Uprising, constitutional reform and nation-building, and good governance, including anti-corruption measures, rule of law, public administration, judiciary and police reforms, along with strengthening local government institutions.
In the second chapter, BNP has committed to achieving non-discriminatory socio-economic development and sustainable state capacity.
It highlights poverty alleviation and social protection, women's empowerment, agricultural development and food safety, and nationwide employment generation alongside youth development, education and human resource development, and healthcare.
It also addresses labour and workers' welfare, overseas employment and expatriate welfare, persons with special needs, social challenges, environmental protection and sustainable development, waste management and pollution control, conservation of natural resources, water resource planning and disaster management, as well as defence and foreign policy.
The third chapter outlines BNP's commitment to restructuring and revitalising the fragile economy.
It includes plans to democratise the economy and build a trillion-dollar economy, boost investment and foreign direct investment (FDI), and strengthen private sector development through reforms in banking, financial institutions and the capital market.
The proposals also cover trade facilitation and expansion into international markets, development of industry, handicrafts and the rural economy, expansion of the service sector, power and energy development, ICT and transport infrastructure, as well as the blue and creative economies and improved revenue and expenditure management.
In the fourth chapter, BNP has pledged balanced regional development.
It prioritises establishing Chattogram as the commercial capital; development of the northern region; haor and baor areas; coastal regions; urbanisation and housing; tourism; and building a safe and sustainable Dhaka.
The fifth chapter focuses on religion, society, sports, culture and national cohesion.
It presents a five-year plan to promote religious harmony; address issues concerning ethnic communities in the hills and plains; advance sports; strengthen media; promote arts and culture; and restore moral values.
