Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali today (18 May) called upon his fellow colleagues to win the hearts of the people by extending desired services.

"You have to further brighten the image of the police by doing positive works for the welfare of the people," he said while inspecting the grandmaster parade of the police at the ground of Rajarbagh Police Lines.

The colourful parade was held aimed at enhancing the physical capabilities of the force and maintaining discipline among the force, he said.

After visiting the contingent formed by representatives from different units, the DMP commissioner called upon all to do their duties in accordance with the law.

"There is no scope to do anything beyond discipline and law," he continued.

The DMP commissioner called upon all concerned to do their duties accordingly to enhance the image of the police force and face any situation with morale.

"We will have to turn the DMP into a more modern, dynamic and trusted organisation through our sincere services. Devote you to serve the people staying impartial," he added.

During the time, senior DMP officers were present.
