'Love and Life Through My Eyes': Touhid Parvez Biplob’s first solo journey in frames
Featuring around 42 carefully curated photographs, the exhibition captured countless stories drawn from across Bangladesh and beyond.
"Love and Life Through My Eyes" was the first solo photography exhibition by Touhid Parvez Biplob, presenting a deeply personal visual narrative shaped by nearly 15 years behind the camera.
Featuring around 42 carefully curated photographs, the exhibition, which took place from Friday (6 February 2026) to yesterday at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, captured countless stories drawn from across Bangladesh and beyond.
From the enduring traditions of rural life to the quiet splendour of nature, each frame reflects Biplob's instinctive connection with his subjects and his ability to find meaning in the everyday.
Biplob's journey into photography began in childhood, guided by curiosity rather than convention. While others focused on portraits, his lens gravitated towards birds, rivers, villages and landscapes. His work has since taken him across nearly 34 countries, yet Bangladesh remains central to his visual language.
Beyond exhibitions and awards, photography has been a tool for community engagement for Biplob: through workshops, social initiatives and his Bogra Photography Club.
This exhibition marked a meaningful milestone, an artist's first solo statement, where he tried to showcase the beauty of Bangladesh. Going forward, Biplob hopes to organise an exhibition on the Sundarbans.
