Dutch-Bangla Bank names new managing director and CEO
Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC has appointed Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan as managing director and CEO, effective 7 February 2026.
Before joining as managing director and CEO, Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan served as deputy managing director and chief business officer (CBO) of the bank for around six years.
He also served as chief operating officer (COO). Earlier, he was the manager of several key branches of Dutch-Bangla Bank, including the local office.

Khan joined Dutch-Bangla Bank in 2003 and has been involved in the bank's business expansion and operational management initiatives.
With more than 30 years of experience in the banking sector, he began his career at Basic Bank in 1995 as an assistant manager (probationary).
He completed a BSc (Hons) and MSc in economics from Jahangirnagar University.
