Tarique asks party leaders to identity voters's problems as he reviews Dhaka-17 polls preparations

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today (6 January) held a meeting with leaders and activists of the Dhaka-17 constituency to review election preparations and provide guidance on voter outreach.
The meeting was held from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the BNP chairperson's political office in Gulshan.
During the meeting, Tarique exchanged views with leaders and activists from Banani Thana, one of the four thanas under the Dhaka-17 constituency.
BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council members Abdus Salam and Dr Farhad Halim Donor were present at the meeting, along with Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna, Mohila Dal General Secretary Sultana Ahmed, and Chhatra Dal General Secretary Nasiruddin Nasir.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Nasiruddin Nasir said the discussion was part of the party's ongoing consultations ahead of the upcoming national election.
He said Tarique Rahman instructed party leaders to identify the key problems faced by voters in Dhaka-17 and assured that the party would place those issues before the electorate with clear commitments to address them.
Nasir also said another election-related meeting with Tarique Rahman was scheduled to take place later in the afternoon.
