Tarique calls CA Yunus after landing, expresses gratitude for security arrangements

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed gratitude to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus immediately after returning home from a long 17-year exile.
After reaching Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this morning, he called Chief Adviser over phone and talked with him.
During their conversation, Tarique Rahman expressed gratitude to the chief adviser for the arrangements taken for his security and overall management of his homecoming events.
In a video shared on the verified Facebook page of the BNP media cell, it was seen that Tarique Rahman was inquiring about the well-being of the chief adviser during their phone conversation.
"I thank you on behalf of myself and my family. Specially, my sincere gratitude for the measures taken for my security," Tarique Rahman was saying.
The video also shows that at the end of the phone call, he sought doa from the Chief Adviser Yunus and ended the conversation by conveying salam.
Security arrangements for Tarique Rahman have already been implemented, with Dhaka divided into red, yellow, and white zones. Entry to the red and yellow zones is strictly controlled through special cards.
Around 2,000 police and security personnel, both uniformed and plainclothes, are deployed to cover the airport, key routes, residences, and his office, while BGB has also been deployed in important areas.
Multiple checkpoints have been set up along Gulshan, Banani, and Baridhara, with high-level surveillance at Tarique's residences, while movement routes are treated as highly sensitive.
Tarique Rahman returned to his homeland after 17 years in exile. A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying Tarique Rahman from London landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:40 am via Sylhet.
