Nine hurt as train hits bus, truck in Mymensingh

At least nine people were injured after a Dhaka-bound train Bhawal Mail Express hit stone-laden truck and bus on a level crossing in Mymensingh early today.
On information, Fire Service and Civil Defence members rushed to the scene, removed the truck from the rail crossing and normalised the situation, said Mymensingh station superintendent Zahurul Islam.
The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Gateman of the Ghunti Rail Crossing was detained for primary interrogation, said Officer-in-Charge of Jamalpur Railway police Tapos Pandit.
Investigation regarding the accident is underway, he added.
