Man killed after being hit by train in Ctg's Satkania

A man was killed after being struck by a train on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar railway line in Satkania Upazila of Chattogram this morning (4 April).
The incident occurred near the southern side of Satkania Railway Station around 5:52am, Satkania Station Master Mong Yu Marma told The Business Standard.
"Locals believe the victim was struck by the Cox's Bazar Express, which was traveling from Dhaka at the time of the incident," the station master said.
The identity of the deceased has not been confirmed until filing this report at 6pm. Police estimate the man to be approximately 30 years old.
Inspector SM Shahidul Islam of the Chattogram Railway Police Station said the body was recovered and sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy. "The Criminal Investigation Department took the fingerprint of the deceased to find the identity."
