Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman held a courtesy meeting with visiting Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay in Dhaka this evening (23 November).
The meeting took place at a hotel in the capital, according to a statement issued by Jamaat-e-Islami.
The party said the discussion was held in a "warm and cordial" atmosphere. However, no details were provided regarding the topics discussed during the meeting.
Jamaat leaders who attended the meeting alongside the ameer included Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary General and head of the central publicity and media department Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, and the ameer's adviser on foreign affairs Mahmudul Hasan.
