Govt plans to rollout e-health cards in 5 districts: PM
The e-health card programme will be launched in Khulna, Noakhali, Bogura, Sirajganj, and Narsingdi.

The government took the initiative to introduce e-health cards in five districts, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman told the Jatiya Sangsad today (15 April).
As part of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party-led government's 180-day programme, the e-health card programme will be launched in Khulna, Noakhali, Bogura, Sirajganj, and Narsingdi, the PM said, adding that a project proposal in this regard is currently awaiting approval.
Replying to a starred question from Pabna-4 lawmaker Md Shamsur Rahman Simul Biswas, the prime minister said that cardholders will be integrated into an electronic patient referral system as well as an electronic patient management system.
