21 govt colleges get new principals

The government has appointed new principals in 21 government colleges across the country, including six in Dhaka. 

At the same time, seven senior officials, including the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) secretary and two other members have been transferred.

A notification in this regard was issued by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education today (9 September).

The colleges include Government Titumir College, Govt. Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Dhaka, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Girls' College, Government Bangla College, and Eden Mohila College.

The notification stated that they will be released from their current workplace by 15 September. The officials have been directed to log into their respective PDS to complete the joining process.

Also, the principal of Dhaka College has been removed from his post. 

NCTB Director Md Khorshed Alam has been given the charge of Vice Principal of Govt Tolaram College.
