Detective Branch (DB) of police today (21 April) arrested former Awami League (AL) lawmaker from Dhaka-5 constituency Kazi Monirul Islam Monu from the city's Gulshan area.

Monu was arrested around 2pm, Talebur Rahman, deputy sommissioner (DC) of the DB of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) told TBS.

He was sent to the court this afternoon, reports BSS.
