678 more netted under 'Operation Devil Hunt'
The joint forces netted 1,690 criminals from across the country in the last 24 hours till this noon (26 February)

On the 19th day of the joint forces' nationwide crackdown dubbed 'Operation Devil Hunt', 678 more were apprehended for their suspected link to create instability in the country, said a short message of the police headquarters.
With the latest figure, the number of total arrested rose to 10,870 under the 'Operation Devil Hunt' since the operation began on 8 February following a terror attack on the student-people in Gazipur.
The joint forces netted 1,690 criminals from across the country in the last 24 hours till this noon (26 February). Of them, 678 were arrested under the operation while 1012 others on previous cases and warrants.
They also seized one 4.5mm pistol, one LG, one shutter gun, locally made single barrel gun, eight magazines, one bullet of rifle and seven sharp machetes in the last 24 hours.
