Another severed human body part found in Dhaka, victim identified from fingerprints
The victim was identified as Obaidullah from Shibpur upazila in Narsingdi through fingerprints taken from the severed hands.
Police recovered another severed leg from Kamalapur Railway Station this afternoon (28 February), hours after finding two hands in Gulistan and one leg in Kakrail.

However, police have not yet been able to confirm whether the recovered legs and hands belong to the same person.
The latest leg was found at Kamalapur Railway Station in the afternoon.
Earlier, at around 9:45am, two severed human hands were recovered from the road in front of the Stadium Market between gates 1 and 4 of the National Stadium in Gulistan.
Prior to that, at about 2am, another severed leg was recovered from in front of the Scout Bhaban in Kakrail.
Confirming the development, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (Motijheel Division) Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid said, "From the fingerprints, the man's name has been identified as Obaidullah. However, it is not yet confirmed whether the recovered hands and legs belong to the same person. But our suspicion is that the severed parts belong to the same individual."
He said police are investigating the incident and examining CCTV footage from surrounding areas to identify who left the body parts at the locations.
Alongside police, members of the Rapid Action Battalion, Police Bureau of Investigation and Criminal Investigation Department are also investigating.
The recovered body parts have been sent to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for examination.
