Iran's 'new-generation' missiles hit Israel's Ben Guiron Airport
Son of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich injured during military activity in Lebanon.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps says its "new-generation missiles struck Israel's Ben Guiron International Airport on Friday (6 March).
According to report by Al Jazeera, American bases in Gulf countries and Israeli sites including "Ben Gurion Airport, Haifa and Tel Aviv" were hit the missiles, the force said.
Israeli minister's son, other toops injured at Lebanon border
Meanwhile, the son of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich was injured during military activity in Lebanon.
According to Al Jazeera report citing the Israeli Army Radio, Bezalel's son was among the soldiers who were injured at Lebanon borders.
Israel attacks Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out a "broad-scale wave" of strikes on Lebanon's capital Beirut, while civilians told reporters they were "really afraid".
Iran also launched fresh strikes on Israel, according to the IDF, while Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain said they intercepted attacks overnight, reports BBC.
America to increase strike
US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said American strikes on Iran were about to "surge dramatically".
Meanwhile, UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy said there would be further attempts to arrange repatriation flights from Oman after the first UK-chartered flight from the Middle East landed at Stansted Airport, reports BBC.
The latest developments come as the war entered its seventh day.
