Just 15 hours after the body of college student Sujana was recovered from a lake in Purbachal of Narayanganj's Rupganj, the body of another teenager boy was recovered today (18 December) from the same location.

The deceased was identified as Shainur Rashid Kabya, 16, son of Harunur Rashid of Kachukhet Bou Bazar area, was a grade X student at Adamjee Cantonment Public School in the capital, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Narayanganj Police (C Circle) Mehdi Islam said.

"Fire service divers recovered Kabya's body and a motorcycle submerged in the lake beneath the number 4 bridge in Sector 2 of Purbachal earlier this morning," he said.

The police official further said, "Yesterday, police had recovered the body of a young girl named Sujana from the lake. Upon inquiring with Sujana's family, we learned that another teenager named Kabya was missing along with her.

"Kabya's body has been sent to the morgue of General Hospital [Victoria] Narayanganj for autopsy," he added.
