1,000 blankets distributed among cold-affected people in Bogra
At the initiative of Aniruddha Piyal Chowdhury, one thousand blankets were distributed among cold-affected residents in the Sardarpara Atapara area of Bogra recently.
The distribution programme was organised in the name of Begum Khaleda Zia and carried out by Sheikh Monowara Begum Kalpana, wife of the President of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)'s Bogra district unit.
Also present at the programme were the Managing Director of Ring Sign Textiles Limited and his wife, Marina Rinat Hiya, Mashiur Rahman Shamim, Publicity Secretary of the Bogra district BNP, along with other local dignitaries and residents of the area.

The organisers said the initiative aimed to extend support to underprivileged people during the winter season and to ease their hardship caused by the cold weather.
Local residents welcomed the initiative and expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided.
