Data of thousands of airline passengers around the world was recently hacked via a "highly sophisticated" attack on the IT systems of SITA, which serves around 90% of the global airline industry.

SITA runs services like ticketing, baggage control and other passenger services for airlines. It serves the Star Alliance that includes Singapore Airlines, Finnair, Malaysian Airlines, Lufthansa, United and others. The hacker attack on the company's servers once again highlights how cyber-criminals have become more sophisticated and active over the years, reports Gadgets Now.

However, there are still a large number of internet users who seem to be unaware or rather aloof to such grave dangers. As NordPass's annual list of worst passwords shows.

The list reveals 200 most hacked passwords of the year and how these continue to remain the same over the past many years. It details the number of times a password has been exposed (hacked), used, and the time it would take to crack it. Here are 48 most popular/common passwords from the list that have been hacked at least 50,000 times.
