Litton ruled out as Jaker wins toss and fields first

Bangladesh have taken the field against India without captain Litton Das. In his absence, Jaker Ali has been handed the responsibility of leading the side. At the Dubai International Stadium, Jaker won the toss and opted to field first.
Just two days earlier at the ICC Academy ground, Litton seemed cheerful at the start of practice. Bangladesh have been playing well in the Asia Cup, and he has been leading from the front. But there was a reason for concern—injury. Bangladesh had a three-day break before the India match, during which they trained for a day. Litton appeared fine at the start of that session, but while batting, he injured a muscle near his rib cage. He stopped batting immediately, lay down beside the nets, and was attended to by team physio Bayezidul Islam and chief physician Debashish Chowdhury.
Even before the toss today, Litton was not seen warming up. Apart from his absence, there have been changes in the team. Mahedi Hasan, Shoriful Islam and Taskin Ahmed have been left out. In their places, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mohammad Saifuddin and Rishad Hossain have been included.
Bangladesh XI: Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Parvez Hossain Emon, Saif Hasan, Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain, Jaker Ali (captain), Rishad Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mustafizur Rahman.
