Hamza wants to play for Bangladesh "for a number of years"
The 27-year-old midfielder said he has no special expectations for himself, but aims to contribute to the team’s existing process.

Hamza Choudhury has announced that he will play for Bangladesh "for a number of years," expressing his confidence in the team and head coach during his first official press conference at a hotel in the capital on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old midfielder said he has no special expectations for himself, but aims to contribute to the team's existing process.
"We are a great nation. We can achieve whatever we'd like, we'll just have to put in the hard work and we need to respect the process of going to that level. We've got no rush. We've got a lot of time Inshallah. I'll be playing for Bangladesh for a number of years," the Sheffield United midfielder said when asked about his expectations of the team and himself in Bangladesh.
Flanked by captain Jamal Bhuiyan and head coach Javier Cabrera, Hamza—who arrived in Dhaka last night after spending two days in Habiganj—acknowledged the experience of his new teammates.
"At the end of the day, I'm from a different league, I play a different style of football. But these players here, like Jamal the captain, they are much more experienced than me in international football. And experience goes a long way. So I'm here to learn from them as well. Inshallah we could be successful and we just want to take one step at a time."
The Leicester City academy product, who previously represented England at under-21 level, said he was both hopeful and excited after assessing the team's tactical approach.
"I'm very hopeful and I'm very excited. I and the coach have been in contact for a number of weeks. He showed me a number of video clips and I'm very surprised at the team's tactical abilities and the way they have been attacking teams. So I'm hopeful I can add something to the team," Hamza added.
