Bangladesh to leave for Oman on October 3, will play two practice matches before the tournament begins
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) informed through a press release on Tuesday.

The ICC T20 World Cup will begin on October 17 in Oman. Bangladesh will begin their WC hunt on the opening day against Scotland. But Mahmudullah Riyad's side will travel to Oman two weeks before the tournament begins.
The Bangladesh cricket team will leave for Oman on the morning of October 3 to take part in the World Cup. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) informed through a press release on Tuesday.
Apart from this, the schedule of quarantine including practice and practice match of Bangladesh has also been published.
Bangladesh will have to reach the main round after playing the first round of the T20 World Cup. Although it's officially called the first round, it is basically the qualifier round of the tournament.
Bangladesh will play in Group B in this round. In the first round, Bangladesh will face Scotland, Oman and Papua New Guinea.
The cricketers have been on leave since the New Zealand series. But no one is really passing any leisure time. Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman are in the UAE to play in the IPL. Besides, almost all the cricketers have started practising in Mirpur personally.
The cricketers will officially join the team on October 1 after the end of the holiday. Although they will not take part in any practice session in the country. The cricketers will take part in the photo session of the World Cup on October 1. There will be a corona test the next day. Bangladesh will leave for Oman on the morning of October 3 on the basis of players testing Covid negative.
After reaching Oman, Bangladesh will have to stay in room quarantine for a day. The cricketers will then get four sessions to practice. After a four-day training in Oman, Bangladesh will leave for the United Arab Emirates on October 9.
Mahmudullah's team will practice there on October 11 after a one-day quarantine. Bangladesh will return to Oman on October 15 after playing two warm-up matches against Sri Lanka on October 12 and Ireland on October 14 respectively.
