PSN rises from the digital grave after 24 hours

After more than a full day of downtime, PlayStation Network (PSN) is finally back online! Sony's official PSN status page confirms that services have been restored, just in time for gamers to salvage their weekend.
PSN had been out for over 24 hours, leaving players locked out of online matches, the PlayStation Store, and even some apps. Reports of issues flooded Downdetector, with the outage beginning around 3 PM PST (5 AM BST). Sony acknowledged the issue in a tweet but remained tight-lipped on when it would be resolved.
The downtime was significant enough for publishers to warn players. NetEase Games, the studio behind Marvel Rivals, told fans they might struggle to access their games. Meanwhile, EA had to extend FC 25's Ultimate Team Champs Finals due to the disruption, something a lot of Bangladeshi gamers also complained about on different online gaming portals and Facebook groups.
Now, after a long wait, PSN is back in action. Time to dive back into Fortnite, Call of Duty, or whatever you were grinding before the blackout.
