Iran Accuses United States of Reckless Military Adventure at Sea
The United States and Iran are facing dangerous new tensions in the Strait of Hormuz after military exchanges, naval blockades, and sharp warnings from President Donald Trump. US forces say they blocked more than seventy tankers and disabled Iranian-flagged vessels, while Tehran accuses Washington of reckless aggression and attacks on cargo ships.
The crisis is now impacting global oil and gas markets because nearly twenty percent of the world's energy supplies pass through the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, fragile diplomatic efforts involving Qatar, Pakistan, Israel, and Lebanon continue as both sides face growing international pressure to prevent wider conflict.
