Backstreet Boys soar at Vegas Sphere opener
Backstreet Boys launched their Sphere residency in Las Vegas Friday night with a dazzling, high-tech spectacle many are calling their best performance yet.
Kicking off their Into the Millennium show, the five members — Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean, and Kevin Richardson — appeared on stage amid massive spaceship visuals, opening with the aptly titled 'Larger Than Life.'
The set celebrated their landmark album Millennium in full, while also including new track 'Hey' and fan favourites from 'Black & Blue', thrilling nearly 20,000 fans dancing and singing along to hits like 'The Call' and 'Shape of My Heart.'
Their flawless vocals and classic choreography lit up the futuristic venue, with standout moments including giant mountain projections during 'Siberia' and a dramatic ship-rise for 'I Want It That Way.'
The night ended with 'Everybody (Backstreet's Back),' leaving fans eager to return. The residency runs until 24 August.
