Three-day workshop concludes at BUP
The closing ceremony of a three-day workshop titled "Business Hackathon: Social Business Innovation and Knowledge Exchange" was held on 19 November 2024 at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The event was jointly organized by the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) of BUP and Fontys Venlo University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands.
The workshop aimed to engage students in applying their skills and creativity to address real-world social business challenges. It included a dynamic social business case competition, "Business Hackathon," and four expert-led plenary sessions. Five teams, each comprising students from Fontys and BUP, participated in the business case competition.
Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, PhD, Vice Chancellor of BUP, graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and presented certificates to the participants. Delegates from Fontys Venlo University, BUP high officials, faculty members, and students of FBS also attended the programme.
