Former head of the Special Branch of Police Monirul Islam, who has been in hiding since the fall of the Awami League government on 5 August, was spotted in India recently.
He was seen doing grocery shopping at a shop in Connaught Place in Delhi, India.
A friend of a Bangladesh Bank official who preferred to remain anonymous sent him photos of Monirul while also confirming that a few other politicians and police officials are living in the same area.
