Prisoner dies in Dhaka Central Jail

A prisoner at the Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj, died today (27 September) after falling ill.
The deceased, identified as Mamunur Rashid (46) became unwell at around 7:50am inside the jail.
According to prison authorities, Mamunur was immediately rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital's emergency department at 9:30 am for treatment. Upon arrival, the on-duty doctor declared him dead after conducting necessary examinations.

The body has been transferred kept at DMCH morgue for an autopsy, said Inscpector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost.
