BNP leader shot by two men on motorcycle in Keraniganj
A union-level BNP leader was shot reportedly by two men riding a motorcycle in Keraniganj, Dhaka, on Thursday night.
The injured, Hasan Molla, 45, is the general secretary of Hazratpur Union BNP in the upazila.
"We have learned that two individuals came on a motorcycle, shot him, and fled the scene. The matter is being verified," said Keraniganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saiful Alam.

Hasan Molla is currently undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in critical condition.
The incident occurred around 9:00pm in the Dhalikandi area of Ward No. 7 of the union. Hasan sustained a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen.
According to the victim's younger brother, Rakib Hossain, Hasan was returning home from a religious gathering (waz mahfil) when he was shot on the road in Ward 7.
